Anthí Pafiou is a Cyprus-based multidisciplinary artist and cultural practitioner whose work bridges visual arts, education, and body movement. She studied contemporary dance and visual art. Over the past several years, she has focused on murals and wall paintings, collaborating with municipalities and entrepreneurs across Cyprus and leading creative workshops for adults, teenagers, and children. In 2023, she founded the “Love, Mural Festival” (Festoi) — a traveling initiative that brings art to small mountainous communities in Cyprus, using creativity to support and revitalise these villages so they do not disappear under the pressures of urbanisation, and to benefit society by fostering connection, engagement, and positive transformation through art.

This work is also grounded in long-term research on how art can be a transformative force for individuals and communities, particularly through the value of remaining in the present moment. Over the past thirteen years, she has collaborated with artists and scientists from diverse fields, exploring how engagement can enable individuals to become their own healers and transform their lives.

Her work has been featured at international festivals, biennales, and exhibitions across Europe. She has participated in projects such as the Florence Biennale (2021), the online event “La Nuit des Idées” (2021), and the Venice International Performance Week (2017). She co-founded the All Night Long Festival (2018) while Inner Space won the mural competition “Let’s Graffiti Reumatism 2020”.
